Kia ora, i'm Emily, and welcome to my site, Wild Soul Eclectic.

The name I chose for my brand is to represent two aspects for me: my inner wild woman who loves to travel, explore and take opportunities. Secondly, my eclectic self that creates art in a  myriad of ways, with a range of mediums.

​

A variety of pathways and opportunities in life have led me here. To become a carver, a creator, a weaver, a jeweller, an artist. I love working with stone, crystals, wood, natural fibres, leather and metal and find inspiration to create all around Aotearoa, but particularly Te Wai Pounamu, the South Island.

 

I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2008, a Diploma in Hardstone & Jade carving in 2021 and in 2022 studied a Graduate Diploma in Jewellery & Metal-Smithing, BUT, my best education has come from experimentation and exploring new ideas & materials!

 

I enjoy traveling for festivals and markets to connect with new people and share my work. You can find my work in a selection of galleries around Aotearoa.

I enjoy travelling to gather inspiration, learn new skills and be exposed to opportunities for creative growth! I am open to apprenticeships, teaching and collaborations world wide!
